Prapti Golakiya is an emerging fashion designer and fashion business student currently studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Her work combines design, cultural storytelling, and contemporary fashion, reflecting her background growing up in India and studying across global fashion environments. She previously earned an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design from FAD International in Mumbai, where she developed multiple capsule collections and refined her skills in digital and 3D design tools.

Golakiya has gained industry experience working with international fashion teams, contributing to collection development, fabric sourcing, and technical design processes. Her work has been featured in ELLE India, and her collections have been showcased at Dubai Fashion Week.

Through her work, Golakiya explores textile experimentation, cultural narratives, and modern fashion innovation while continuing to develop her voice as a designer.
